Gunilla is my very nice wife, with whom I have
three wonderful children, Amanda 13, Christopher 9, and last but not least
Cornelia 8.

The TKS TurnKey Systems is my spare time firm, which
help me keep competence that is no longer my profession. And it is also a
very practical hobby, as it is a very good mental gymnastic that i can
practice almost without any bad interference with the family.

project right now is as a participant in the building of the worlds first
real big GSM-R system. Which is an ordinary GSM system with extensions for
railway purpose.

Interests!
Beside the family (if there is any time for "beside the family"),
is my main interests backpacking, hunting and "computing".
I have
been backpacking in the Swedish mountains for at least 35 years, and
almost only in the Swedish national parks Sarek and Padjelanta. In winter
by skiing and, and in summer by foot. In winter it is also great
possibilities to go by snowmobile around the parks. Snowmobiles is not
allowed inside the parks.
One winter on skiing, i had two friends with
me that had been very much in the European Alps. When we came skiing over
a mountain down the mountainside to the great valley Rapadalen i Sarek
national park, there spontaneous comment was:
-"Wow! Look at
that! Miles and miles of this magnificent view, and not one single
cableway!"
That is the Swedish mountains in one
sentence!
Hunting moose in northern Sweden is also one of
my great interests. My old friend Klas Lycksell in Jokkmokk, has been my
teacher for many years. And a more competent teacher is hard to find. Once
a long time ago, in the autumn, when i was quite new as a hunter, i found
very many and big tracks of moose when we was out for hunting. And i said
to Klas -"Look at that, there has been at least two moose's here that have
left tracks in the moss!". His calm answer was:
-"Yes! They have gone
there late last autumn when the moss was frozen!"
That autumn i did not
say so much more about tracks!
It's also more than once that I've gone
with Klas tracking moose. He has followed some quite new made track, and
pointed them out for me on the ground. But even then, I've been unable to
see the tracks where he pointed them out. Never the less, some hours
later, we have been on the track again on softer ground where also i have
been able to see the track. So when i was unable to see the track, even
when he pointed them out for me, Klas was able to track the moose just by
following the tracks with his eyes.
Computing is right now one of my big interests
by three important reasons.
First it is a way for me too keep up
competence that no longer is my profession. Second, computing is great
mental gymnastics. Some people play chess, i do "computing".
And third,
it is free of charge, and it can bee practiced anywhere, anytime. That is
important when i have a family that comes in the first
room. |
